Looks

A Look is your page's whole style: base, background, shade, accent color, and card shape. Style your page, then save it as a Look.

Where to find it

• The palette button in your page's status row
• The page's Edit panel (the ⋯ menu in the sidebar)
• Page Look in the account menu, for your main page

The layers

Base

Every page sits on Light or Dark. Light is a clean, minimal base to build on. Dark switches the page, cards, and menus to a darker palette for low-light work.

New pages start on SievePage, our signature purple base with the bedroom scene by @arunyi_. Once you switch to Light or Dark, you can't switch back. Your other pages keep their own bases.

Background

An image behind the column area, on any base.

Shade

One pick recolors your page, cards, and menus together.

• On Light: warm white, cool white, or cream.
• On Dark: pure black, navy, or charcoal.

Accent

The highlight color across your page: your name pill, checklist progress, tags, reaction dots, scrollbars, and buttons.

Card style

A color picked on a single card still wins over the page's card color.

• Corners: sharp for a crisp grid, rounded for the standard look, or pill for something softer.
• Border: none for a floating feel, subtle for the standard hairline, or strong for a firmer edge.

Column width

• Narrow, normal, or wide, for every column on the page. Narrow fits more of your queue on screen at once; wide gives each piece more room to breathe.
• Drag any column's edge and it snaps to one of the three.

Sprite

Your own little character in a corner of your page.

• Upload a GIF or WebP up to 512KB from the Character sprite row of the palette panel.
• Pick a corner: bottom left or bottom right.
• It stays put when you switch Looks and is never saved into one. Remove it from the same row any time.

Save a Look

Open the palette panel and save it as a Look with a name. Keep up to 10.

Share a Look

Every saved Look has a share link. Post it anywhere: your page, a server, a friend's DMs. Whoever opens it sees the Look's name, your handle, and its accent swatch.

Use a Look shared

• Open the link, tap Use this Look, and pick which of your pages should use it.
• Your current style is saved first, automatically. Apply that one to change back. It doesn't count toward your 10.
• The background image is copied into your storage. If your storage is full, the background is skipped and everything else still applies.
• Not signed in? Sign in or join, and you'll be offered the Look when you next open your own page.
• Applying a Look never changes the page it came from.
