Managing Pages
Pages are the heart of SievePage. Each page is your own workspace: a place to organize your work, shape it around your brand, and share it with the people who follow you.
There's no single settings gear. To edit any page, your main username page or an additional one, open its ⋯ menu in the sidebar and choose Edit. The same menu is where you Import a Trello board or Delete a page. Your main page's appearance, page icon, and site description also live under Default Page Theme in the account menu.
Organize your work
The day-to-day tools for keeping your projects, commissions, and ideas in order.
Columns: your workflow stages
Columns are the lanes your cards move through, like To do → In progress → Done, or Requested → Sketching → Delivered. Set them up to match how you actually work.
- Add a column: click + Add column at the right edge of the page
- Rename a column: double-click the column title
- Reorder columns: drag by the column header
- Style a column title: hover a column and click the palette button to set its alignment (left, center, right) and an optional accent color
- Delete a column: hover the column and click the trash button next to the palette
Deleting a column deletes every card inside it, and that can't be undone.
Labels: tag and scan
Labels are colored chips you attach to cards so you can spot priority, type of work, or client status without reading every card. They're specific to each page.
To create one:
- Open any card
- Click Labels in the card detail panel
- Click + Create label, then pick a name and color
Hiding a card: take it off the board without deleting
Want a card off your public board but not gone for good? Hide it instead of deleting:
- Open the card's options menu (the ⋯)
- Choose Hide
A hidden card disappears for visitors but stays on your own board, set aside as hidden. You can still open it and choose Unhide to bring it back. To remove a card for good instead, use Delete.
Make it yours
Your page is part of your creator brand. Open your page's Edit panel (the ⋯ menu in the sidebar) to reach them. For your main page, they live under Default Page Theme in the account menu.
Themes: Sieve, Dark, or Custom
Pick one of three themes, and switch between them at any time:
- Sieve: the default light theme
- Dark: a full dark mode for low-light work, where the whole page, cards, and menus switch to a darker palette
- Custom: set your own accent color and upload a background to brand the page
Switching is instant, and any background you've uploaded for the Custom theme is kept and reappears whenever you return to it.
Accent color and backgrounds
- Accent color (Custom theme): the highlight color used across your page's buttons, headers, and links. Match it to your brand palette.
- Background: an image set behind the column area, uploaded or from a URL. You can set one background per page, and it stays put when you switch themes.
Column title images
Give each column a custom image displayed full-size above it. Open Edit Columns in the page header and use the add-image button next to a column name.
Page icon and description
Set these under Default Page Theme (open the account menu, then Settings). They shape how your main page shows up beyond SievePage:
- Page icon: a small image used as your page's icon in browser tabs and in link previews. Without one, the SievePage logo is used.
- Site description: a short summary used as your page's SEO description. It reads well in search results and when your link is shared on social or chat apps.
Share it with the world
Turn your page into something your audience can see, explore, and interact with.
Visibility: public or private
Your page is public by default. Making a page private is a Pro feature. Team pages are always private. See Page privacy and access control for the full rundown.
Gallery uploads
Show off your artwork in your gallery. See Gallery for supported file types, size and rate limits, and how uploads use your storage.
Custom HTML (Profile Layout)
Embed your own block of HTML to add custom elements to your main page. Open Default Page Theme from the account menu and look for Profile Layout. CSS is allowed; JavaScript is not.
Renaming or deleting a page
- Rename: open the page's Edit panel (sidebar ⋯ menu) and change the page title
- Delete: additional pages are removed from the same ⋯ menu via Delete, which permanently removes the page and all its cards and can't be undone. Your main page can't be deleted.
